Golf Holidays in Scotland

Scotland: the Perfect Place for a Golfing Holiday

What makes Scotland such a great place to play golf? The answer is totally obvious: the scenery.
The landscape of Scotland is the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely outdoor sport like golf.
Away from the busy towns and cities of England, you can enjoy your golf game in fresh air and peace.

Another reason to play golf in Scotland is to play in the game’s birthplace.
While the true origins of golf remain a mystery, it is fair to say that the modern game we now call golf originated in Scotland in the 15th century.

Torwoodlee Golf Club is Situated in the Scottish Borders region, we are a private members golf club where you are sure to receive a warm welcome.
Situated only 45 minutes from Edinburgh, it is the perfect location for any golfing enthusiast, set in rolling parkland and mature woodland right next to the River Gala.

So, whether you want to make golf the sole focus of your holiday, or just part of a general trip to Scotland that also takes in the capital and other sights,
Torwoodlee is ideal; and if you like good food, the catering is one of the best in the region.
